it’s quickly approaching winter here in mid november, which inevitably means shorter days ahead, yet there’s something about the sun when it commands your attention...

it cannot be ignored or blocked out by objects or nature as it always finds a way to peek through, boldly reminding you of its presence.

on one particular afternoon, while walking on a local trail, i realized that not a single day goes by in which i do not long for sun. it enlightens me, comforts me, and embraces me with its luminous rays and a strength more powerful than the most enormous of trees.
