Vintage 60’s necklace. Rainbow Man is a Zuni symbol for the supreme kachina spirit of harmony and beauty; a sign of the grace of the Great Mystery that gives man the privilege of walking this earth. The Bell Trading Company was founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1935 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred Bell. They sold Native American Indian jewelry at various tourist locations in the southwestern United States until the late 1980s.
